Functions:
  • Dual Mode Programming Operations ;
    - Standalone Mode - Operates by itself to perform functions such as Copy, Edit Buffer, Read, Blank check, Erase and Test of some standard chips. Comes with internal CPU, 7 key keypad, 16x2 LCD display, and flash memory for programming data and algorithms. Standard data buffer size is 8 Mbits, which is expandable to 128 Mbits. Programming algorithms can be downloaded from the PC host via printer port, which will stay inside the memory until re flushed. Flash memory can store more than 30 algorithms at one time. The application is ideal for volume programming or field service operations. 12 volts DC power input allows for mobile operation using power from the vehicle.
    - PC Mode - Operates with a PC. Connects to a parallel port of the PC. Provides full programming features such as Program, Read, Verify, Blank Check, Buffer Edit, Vector test, etc. Stream- lined file and buffer data management, chip selection and other features are provided as a standard. Programming algorithms for more than 3,000 devices are provided.
  • Universal Pin-Driver, Universal Adapter;
  • Universal pin driver architecture allows for easy update of new devices. Socket adapters also become universal as that, for example, a 44pin PLCC adapter is usable for all devices in the same package. Adapters are no longer device specific, which saves money and time.
  • Chip Insertion Check, Protects Chips;
  • Checks for proper insertion of the chip for proper programming and protection against potential damage to the chip.
  • Auto Programming Mode, efficient for Volume Programming;
  • Chip inserted is detected and identified automatically, and programming sequence begins immediately without intervention. Operation, therefore, is error free and very efficient. It is ideal for volume programming.

  • In stand-alone mode programming, 8Mbit Flash (28F800) takes only 36 seconds for full programming.

  • When programming a volume of EPROM or Flash devices each day programming time becomes crucial. SUPERPRO/2000+ enhances speed of programming by almost two folds for large devices, thus enhancing daily throughput by up to twice.
